The Muslims had received many prophecies years ago that doesn't make any sense back then but just so relevant today. That's just awesome. We should be the greatest population on earth. But sadly we're not, yes we were once before but that doesn't really matter now.
Among the prophecies are about the signs near doomsday.
One of it is, "there will be very tall buildings"
Petronas Twin Towers used to be the tallest building in the world, it is located in Malaysia the country that is govern by the Muslims. The height is 452 m and consist of 88 floors. It was designed by César Pelli an Argentine-American architect. Interestingly, this building was designed to resemble motifs found in Islamic art, a reflection of Malaysia's Muslim religion and the building cross-section resemble an Islamic symbol called Rub el Hizb. Cool.
It looks a little like IIUM's logo don't you think?
Unfortunately, in the year 2004 Taipei 101 was build with the height of 502.9 m and 101 floors. Easily surpass Petronas Twin Tower with extra 50m and 13 floors.
Now I'm getting to my point.
The Burj Dubai is yet to be tallest building in the world. It is estimated to be completed by September 2009. With the height of 818 m! Surreal. Luckily human hasn't manage to surpass God's tallest mountain. The Everest - 8,848 m~ We are far far behind.
As the name implies, it is located in Dubai. One of the seven emirates in UAE. Of course, lead by Muslims.
I mean, come on what's the rush? Despite all the prophecies, we are inviting the doomsday. We are like let's fulfilled all the signs near doomsday, one each day, so it'll be faster. I'm not against development but I just think it is such a waste of money. All those famine and wars involving Muslims. Disappointing.
Oh, and don't get me started on how we are like racing on building humongous, beautiful and yet empty mosques around the country. Yes, it is on the list of signs near doomsday. Told ya!

great idea...tgk ko cam 2 je,tp hbt!!!hehehe...there r many more signs of the upcoming Last Day...among them is dat the Muslims' population r so high yet they all hv very little faith (iman), like the beach's bubbles...
so lets not argue about- whats the rush...we r inviting the doomday....the fact is dat the doomday will definitely occur, either we want it ocur fast or slow or dont want it occur at all...its like a death...no delay n not occur earlier even 1 sec from the time that Allah has decided...futhermore,there r many2 more signs of dommday...even people dont build high towers, there r many prophecies that people hv done...such as girl behaves n wears like boy n vice versa...rite?
dats y we, as people living in this 'akhir zaman' must struggle to uplift Islam...there r many ways..as individual (like covers the aurat), as family,as society and as a country...
the question is: is it our country is an Islamic country????? i do agree dat when u said that our country is governed by Muslims but the fact is dat we r not live in an Islamic country...
so mudah-mudahan BN kalah terus la pd PRU akn dtg...heheheheh...sebab apa yg BN or UMNO perjuangkan ialah nasiolism n bersifat kebangsaan...Tun Mahathir is also da same...(nt ada org marah kn,hehe)...we r obliged or it is compulsory to us to support Islamic revolution...x kira la PAS ke PUS ke PIS...itu adalah nama pergerakan sahaja...perjuangan Islam itulah yg mesti kita sokong..

i ever heard before that there r criteria for a country to be called an Islamic country...i only remember one, kena laksanakn hudud...em Alhamdulillah, many government like Saudi n many others did this part...but in Malaysia,,,they even looks down on hudud..
i dont wanna bore u with this political thingy..hehehe..but Islam is syumul rite? so kita kena la ambik tau gak so dat we dont support the secular parties...sbb itu dikira syubahat dlm perkara mungkar...
